Pros: A basic very large campsite ideal for the budget camper with tent or van. Very friendly owner, some English spoken. Small shop for the occasional snack or goods. Loads of space. 3 toilet/shower blocks with laundry sink and washing up sinks. One washing machine per block. Gates open between 8am -10pm. Call in at snack bar or toot horn for assistance on arrival. Parking space outside if you miss the opening times. Very reasonable prices. We stayed in first week of Sept for 14.50 euros the first night and 10.50 euros thereafter. Very peaceful place. Cook your own food over your camping gaz burner. Back to nature with no fuss.
Cons: Not a lot of shade available so gets pretty hot mid afternoon. Not a luxurious place so don't expect pools, games, fancy bathroom blocks, restaurants. These can be found in all the other campsites (for a price).
Locals could be a bit noisy at night. 3 miles from nearest beach (but other campsites in area were all similar distance). Would recommend!!
